About Me
Sherry Layne is a Los Angeles-based comedy writer, improviser, teacher, and clown (red nose and all). She studied film and television production at Chapman University, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts, and improvisation with iO West and Upright Citizens Brigade, earning a fine, artsy bachelor, but she had to share him with the rest of the class. A prolific storyteller, Sherry constantly collaborates on projects in a variety of media including theatre, film, television, and the web. She performs with the clown troupe Everybody Nose and the long form improv team The Ark. In lieu of sleep, she teaches workshops across southern California and beyond (also known as New Jersey).

So you’re a clown?
Actually, I’m two types of clowns. Neither of which drive tiny cars. I do, however, have several hundred handkerchiefs up my sleeve.

Tab. And yes, I am under the age of 60.
